Poetry is alive! Perhaps the man or woman in front of you in the ATM queue or sitting next to you on the minibus is one of the twelve poets in this book.
And poetry isn't always about things long ago and far away. Hong Kong poets can and do write about the things, people, places and situations we see around us and experience every day: buses, parents, school, love ... even shopping and ice cream.
These are poems we think you'll like to read. You may recognise yourself, or your friends, or the places or situations in them. So the next time you read a poem, keep your eyes and ears open!
